What goes in, and what stays out
Short lists, named actives, printed lot numbers — and a badge only where it is true.
Short lists on purpose
Most OHSAE formulas run under twenty ingredients. That is not minimalism as a look; it is a reaction to how reactive skin behaves. Every additional ingredient is another variable to eliminate when something goes wrong, and a shorter list makes a routine debuggable.
Where an active earns its place, we name it and state the percentage on the page. Hyaluronic acid at an unnamed strength tells you nothing; at a stated one it tells you whether to layer it.
A short list is an honest list.
Claims, product by product
Ingredient, vegan and other claims are shown on each product page only where that product's information supports them. The Studio code checker reads the format of a printed code; it does not authenticate a product or batch.
Vegan where noted
Most of what we make is vegan and badged accordingly. Some of it is not — the Barrier Balm Concealer is built on goat milk, because the lipid profile does something for a compromised barrier that we have not been able to replicate. We badge per product rather than claiming a house-wide standard we cannot keep.
Nothing we make is tested on animals, at any stage, anywhere we sell.
Packaging
Glass, aluminium and recyclable gold-lined board. Caps are refillable and engravable, because the fastest way to reduce packaging is to make something worth refilling. Eco gift boxes hold up to four items and ship flat.
